The tape started being formulated 2 years ago from today (06/20/18).
The idea sprouted from me and JarjarBankx wanting to work on projects togeher rather than singles like we had been doing in 2016. JarjarBankx started cooking up and sending me material he was experimenting with everyday while I started writing and thinking of concepts and chorus's for songs I thought would fit on the tape we were cooking. I wanted to illustrate and explain vividly where me and JarjarBankx were at sonically as we'll as mentally in life. The first two tracks we came up with was "Sweetness" then "The Queen's Loft" which atm I thought wasn't a good start to the track-listing nor was it what we both were going for sonically. I'm not gonna lie I put the tape we were working on to the side to work on "Vibes In Motion" which JarjarBankx produced, & "Wasting Thought Wasting Time" which JarjarBankx produced as well, "Primitive minds", and the "Rogers" EP. 2 months turned into 6, then 6 months turned into a year and we still had no direction with where we wanted to go. Last year JarjarBankx sent me "In Due Time" and told me this might be what we need for the project and once I listened to it I knew this was meant for the project. At this time me and Suni Vega started recording "(in)form" in the studio and I'd come by with beats that JarjarBankx sent and letting Suni Vega pick which ones he thought would go good together. Fast forward to this year me and TGS (Team Gang Squad) were in and out of the studio for about 2 weeks working on "=" which is the follow up to "(in)form" and I'm currently finishing up "(trans)form" which will wrap up the 3 part series "(in)form=(trans)form". Tgs (Team Gang Squad) as well as Majin Mas & Suni Vega will be supplying the production for "(=)" and JarjarBankx will be producing "(trans)form". "(in)form" represents the stages of my life where I tend to question the process and journey I'm on while looking for answers. "(=)" Represents what holds everything together, what connects everything and sprouts life... The universe."(trans)form" symbolizes the points in my life where I come to the realization that we are all one going through this journey called life trying to figure it out and maybe just maybe I'm where I exactly need to be.
